Description

Damien, the cold and powerful Alpha of his pack, has everything he wants-except the one thing that truly matters: his ex-Luna, Felicia. His playboy lifestyle and reckless indulgence in a secret affair with Danielle leave him emotionally distant from Felicia, leading to a fiery divorce that shatters his world. When Felicia disappears with no explanation, Damien remains unbothered-until he learns the truth: she left with their unborn twins. Heartbroken but too proud to admit his guilt, he pushes on with his life, convinced he's made the right choice. Five years later, fate has other plans. While attending the Full Moon Festival, Damien unexpectedly reunites with Felicia, now a mother to twin boys who bear an uncanny resemblance to him. The truth hits him like a tidal wave-Felicia has hidden their children from him all these years. Determined to reclaim his family, Damien's world unravels as he tries to navigate the chaos he created, dealing with his jealousy, heartbreak, and growing obsession over Felicia and the kids. As Damien fights to win Felicia back, a dangerous web of secrets, rivalries, and unexpected alliances emerges. Lucien, Felicia's new protector, stirs feelings of jealousy in Damien, while threats from Danielle and rogue attacks put everyone in danger. With each revelation, Damien realizes that his past mistakes have far-reaching consequences that could tear apart everything he holds dear. Will Damien be able to prove his worth to Felicia and earn a place in his children's lives, or will the damage he's done be too great to overcome? A thrilling spin-off of Hiding My Twin Pups From Their Alpha Dad, this story gives readers a deeper look into Damien's side of the story, as he desperately tries to reclaim the family he lost and redeem himself in the eyes of the woman he's always loved.

Damien

“Mmm, you f*cked the sh*t out of me. I can still feel you inside me.”

I’m the shit.

Let’s just get that out of the way.

I know who I am. I’m Damien, Alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack, feared by rogues, respected by elders, and, yeah, adored by women. I love beautiful things. I love power. And I love women.

Not in the emotional, sappy-ass way. I mean, I appreciate them, the curve of a thigh, the flutter of lashes, the sound a woman makes when she’s moaning my name. That kind of appreciation.

So yeah, even if I’m married to Felicia, who, by the way, is stunning, like, goddess-level beautiful, I still can’t always control where my eyes wander. Or my hands.

Don’t get it twisted. Felicia is all soft elegance. Quiet grace. She walks into a room and the world slows down. But sometimes, I need fire. Chaos. I need someone who bites, someone who scratches down my back and pulls my hair while I ruin her.

And that… that’s Danielle.

Danielle is the kind of woman who walks like she owns every man’s attention and dares them to say otherwise. Long legs, red lips, wild eyes. She’s reckless. Addictive. And completely the opposite of Felicia.

That’s why I like her.

Danielle gives me what Felicia doesn’t. I don’t mean love. I mean freedom. Permission to be the asshole I really am, without shame. Felicia? She looks at me like I could be more. Danielle? She loves me as the monster I already am.

So yeah, I kept Danielle hidden. Because I knew what I was doing was wrong. But I liked having them both. Felicia—the moonlight. Danielle—the wildfire. And me? I’m the idiot standing in between, playing god.

We were at the living room, sitting at the sofa, my chest bare, my fingers tangled in Danielle’s hair as she straddled my lap. Her lips were swollen. Her voice, a whisper against my neck.

“You drive me crazy,” she breathed, dragging her tongue along the edge of my jaw.

My head lolled back. My fingers dug into her waist, possessive. “You like that, huh?”

She giggled, rubbing herself against me, sending a bolt of lust straight to my core.

“You know I do,” she whispered. “But… what about your little Luna?” Her tone dripped with mockery. “Is she okay with this?”

That’s when my brain stalled.

Felicia.

Felicia, with her soft hands, her shy smile, the way she used to press her cheek against my chest like she belonged there.

I blinked. Of course she’s okay with this. I mean… why wouldn’t she be?

“She knows her place,” I muttered, more to myself than to Danielle. “She knows what it means to be mated to me.”

Danielle pulled back, watching me with a smirk. “So I’m your dirty little secret?”

“No, you’re—” I stopped. I didn’t know what she was. A distraction? A sin? Or maybe just what I wanted, even if I knew I shouldn’t.

Danielle tilted her head, trailing her fingers across my chest. And then she pouted. “She’s going to find out eventually and then you’re gonna leave me.”

Danielle started crying and leaned in to me.

I chuckled darkly. “She won’t.”

But then, Felicia’s wife came in from behind.

“Damien! I have something to tell you—”

I looked up when I heard the door open—too fast, too sharp. My gut twisted before I even saw her.

Felicia.

For half a second, I froze. Then instinct took over. I masked it—let my face slide into indifference, the way I always did with her. The way I had to.

“Felicia,” I said flatly, not moving my arm from around Danielle. She needed the comfort, and honestly, I needed the excuse. “What are you doing here?”

Her lips quivered, but she didn’t cry. Of course she didn’t. That wasn’t her style.

“I live here,” she said, her voice barely controlled. “What’s going on?”

Danielle shifted against me, lifting her tear-streaked face just long enough to see Felicia. Her eyes widened, red and raw, before she buried her face deeper into my chest like she could disappear there. God, this was a mess.

“Not now, Felicia,” I said, already feeling the headache forming behind my eyes. “Can’t you see I’m busy?”

“Busy?” Her voice climbed, sharp with disbelief. “I can see very well what you’re busy with!”

I sighed and let my frown deepen. I didn’t have the energy for this—not tonight. Not when everything was already spiraling.

She stepped forward, fists clenched at her sides. I knew that look. She was on the edge. Again.

She’d always thought I was cold. Distant. And maybe I was. But hell, what was I supposed to give her when I didn’t even know what was left of myself to offer?

“I need to talk to you,” she said, her voice suddenly firmer.

“Not now,” I muttered, keeping my gaze on Danielle even though I felt Felicia’s presence like a live wire, too close and too familiar.

“I’m not asking,” she snapped.

That made me look at her. Really look. Her chin was raised, eyes blazing. Something was different. Something final.

“What’s so important that you have to interrupt me right now?” I asked, my voice low. I hated how tight it sounded.

She didn’t back down. Of course she didn’t. “I want a divorce.”

The words landed like a slap—no, a punch. For a moment, all I could do was stare at her.

Danielle gasped against me, going still, but I barely noticed.

“What did you just say?” I asked, even though I’d heard her. Every syllable burned in my chest.

“You heard me,” she said, calm in a way that scared the hell out of me. “I want a divorce.”

Then she dropped something—an envelope. It hit the floor with a pathetic little sound, but it echoed through me like thunder.

She turned and walked out like she wasn’t breaking anything. Like it didn’t matter.

And all I could do was stand there—still holding someone else—while the woman I once thought I’d spend my life with walked away, carrying everything I never gave her... and something I never even knew.

God. What had I done?
